I first contacted Brendan at Mortgage Loans in June 2008 when we started thinking about moving house but it was about 8 months before our apartment sold and we were able to start our search properly. I was immediately impressed when I rang again in February 2009 to find that he remembered who we were and what our circumstances were.

In a difficult environment in which to secure mortgage approval, and with banks changing their guidelines every week, (spring 2009) Brendan guided us through the whole process, and made some great recommendations as to which lenders would be best suited to match our needs and which lenders would be wasting our time. When it came to interest rates he was able to quickly highlight the best options and secured us the lowest interest rate available.

As well as sorting out the mortgage, Brendan was able to find us the best deal on life assurance and quickly sorted out home insurance to make sure we were adequately covered before moving into our new house.

When the time came to draw down the mortgage, Brendan went the extra mile to deal with the inevitable hiccups that arise with paperwork at this stage, taking time to meet me on his day off so that a form didn't get delayed any further, and so that we could draw down our loan cheque and get the keys to our new house as soon as possible. I have no doubt the whole process, from obtaining mortgage approval, insurance quotes, navigating through the maze of interest rate options and fulfilling all the legal requirements to draw down the loan cheque would have been a lot more difficult had we not used Mortgage Loans. I would highly recommend them as the most hassle-free way of dealing with all these issues for anyone looking to buy a house.
